Help With Siggy On Landscape Painting

I have a feeling that it is. The back is to clean, new. If this was an original, I would suspect that something would be on the back, Title, date and such. Hopefully I'm wrong, I like it.

 

What does the stamp on the frame say? What's written on verso, on the canvas edge? I believe I see numbers, 21708. If so, it might indicate the stock number used for the painting.

Depends what do you mean by original. Decorative painting also could be original, done by a single artist, not must produced.
I don't think the clean verso and the lack and signature and date have anything to do with it either.
The stamp i can't read but most lakely from the made in mexico frame. The numbers could be anything, inventory, by the framer etc.

 

True, decorative painting is an original piece of art. The thing is, if you like the painting, hold on to it. If I bought it, decorative or not, I would still keep it. If you wanted to sell it, I'm sure you'll get more than you paid for it. Like I said, I may be wrong. Sometimes we have to roll the dice.

 

To me though, the way the brush strokes are, along with subject matter, makes me think decorative.

 

I love the muted colors the artist used, also the path looks enchanting
