Ok, so I know this is finding a needle in a haystack, but I have an alternative... here is a ring with a very similar setting. If the family has the budget, they could swap out the stones. The ring is reasonable as is.

That is a good alternative. I will message her with the link.
Thanks for taking the time to look. This forum is full of such lovely people who care.

I kept getting sidetracked and going ‘ooh, isn’t that lovely’ and putting them on watch.
I did come across a few that the designer must have been on acid as they were a complete dogs breakfast.

I love the ones that are gold filled or Sterling and they are asking same as 14k. Um, research maybe first? Lol
But you can get some really good deals on those- sometimes worth the asking price in gold and stones. :)

A beautiful Opal ring is on my bucket list but I have expensive tastes so I may have to wait a while.

I “found “ one on Instagram that someone was showcasing. I am not stunned by many pieces of jewelry, but this was an unbelievable ring. I don’t remember a whole lot about it except it I would’ve given a kidney to have it. If I find it, I will definitely post a picture of it.

Oh, oh! I found it. Had to go to messages to my mom, lol. She likes shiny things as much as I. FA265157-731F-4823-B25F-D59B1FAB2DD5.jpeg

I saved this little guy from a melt stack a few months ago, The stones are.. well, bye-bye, seems like it used to be seed pearls and rubies, but the setting is extremely similar. 1870-71 from the date letter if I'm not too wrong, floral instead of thistle accents though, could it do?

Great, loruca, that one is closest so far.:) Stones can be replaced, the style can't.

The others were gorgeous rings, so thanks for letting us drool for a while. But they are pretty much like the ones I came across on Continental sites, of which I thought wouldn't fit the bill.:bag:

How pretty. You have decent photos. A jeweler that specializes in design work should be able to recreate it for you.
