Any ideas on how old this rocking horse might be. It’s marked “rocking horse No ID” on base 688F09D7-28BF-4F22-B493-4A3A947F517F.jpeg

I think this could be actual old one, maybe popular mechanics project or something like that - OTOH - I think I see a label on the middle rung?
..but of course it might be a faked up thing too as @Debora spotted ..good fake though, if it is!

Except for the obvious place where feet go, the wear pattern seems too uniform. And no wear at all on the red base (although maybe that's been repainted), especially immediately behind the foot pegs, where I would expect to see some foot wear.

The market is flooded with these. First they came from India and then from China and Indonesia. The shape of the rockers and their stain color are red flags.

the way that seat is made........I'd still like to give this pony some age....and use......until proven otherwise !!!

The one Deb shows us......they're not the same to my eye !

The label looks like a manufacturer's label, and the font looks a little modern. Can you take a close up of the label? It looks like it says "US 10" more than "NO ID".
Here's rotated and cropped from your photo.

I have a feeling a couple of cross pieces on bottom rungs were repaired and maybe whole bottom was repainted to try to match the rest of it. My mom bought it at antique shop but I don’t know anything else about it .

These are widely misrepresented as antique.

Bet "US 10" is the FOB price.
