Highly carved gourd - Peru - new? Old?

    Thrift store purchase today - About 4" tall. Highly carved with people/plants/animals/buildings. Llamas, cattle, birds, monkeys, farmers, builders etc...

    Newer? That's my gut feeling but I know nothing about these. Thanks again for any info / opinions?

    Great piece, aaron. You're right, newer. But good quality, very nice, intricate detail.
    With these gourds it is the quality that counts, not the age.
