I posted the Mr. Blackwell dress on Ebay. I'm excited to see it go!
    If it does...

    Hi,
KoT has an ozone machine as well as I, they are WONDERFUL items. I always recommend people who sell clothing to purchase one. You can get a nice one for 50 to 75 dollars on eBay. Mine was a used industrial one that I paid 100 dollars for. I am afraid that my screener is going and I do not know if I can get another or I'll be forced to buy a new one.

Greg - thanks, knew someone had mentioned how great these machines were for obliterating odors.

Really nice hats. Clearly these were stored well, despite the lingering scent. Mid-late 60s with that high crown.

The first is the one with b.o.? Did you mistakenly call it cashmere? The label says angora/nylon/wool....Anyway I see nothing you need to be concerned about except the jeweled thing - can you remove that? It may be easiest to wrap that with either foil or saran wrap, or a ziplock. Vinegar may not do any harm at all, but I wouldn't take chances.

JENNIFER MOORE is a Macy's brand. The name was trademarked in 1987.

You know, I didn't pay attention to the label, although I read the content tag..... How kind of Debora to point to this! Apologies for leading astray.

So then, it's still vintage but made to look older than it is. I stand by my dating on the second hat. :)

[My mistake calling it cashmere, sorry :shame:]. I removed the hat pin, and it turns out to be two hats put together. Fun! The tag inside the silk ribbon hat says Mr. Stanley New York. I think it will clean up quite nice, Thank you Rufus!

Mr Blackwell was the most entertaining little SNOB who appeared on all the greatest talk shows for years around the 70s. He had lots of fun doing his own personal Fashion Police reviews... Really funny.

He cashed in the licensing bandwagon with Bob Mackie, Halston and Oleg Cassini. A celebrity designer.

The one with the flowers has all the signs of an Easter bonnet.

Look what I found on Pinterest. Shows what I thought was a veil in place.
