    Hi Cindy!

Welcome. I like your inherited vase.

I can't help, but hopefully Walter will see this.

A cockerel and Italy. There was an Italian cockerel mark a while back, Walter said something about that.
I don't know if your tag came through @judy , so here it is again. @Walter Del Pellegrino , help please.

Hi Cindy...yes I saw the chip.

However, just knowing the history will be of interest to you.

    Was this a family piece?

TY AJ......I really don't know how to post the "shout out" (@)......

Cantagalli uses a cockerel but this doesn't look like the Cantagalli mark that is in Walter's book or on my Cantagalli pieces.

Maybe it is not a cockerel but a bearded guy with a mohawk?:)

Galvani also used a chicken/cockerel mark but I don't see one that matches this in Walter's book.

I found a mark for Calzi that has similarities. It doesn't have the 2 dots. Could the mark above the dots be Va or Vn?

You might have better luck if you post this again and put Italian Pottery in the title. Maybe Walter will see this.
