  1. Picked this for free from down the alley. Old lady was getting rid of stuff. Its wooden, had brass tips on the legs and all in all is in great shape.

What do you value it at ? I was thinking maybe 60 bucks...

Hi and welcome! Value depends on so many variables. What the market is like where you're located, what venue you have to sell etc.

For what it's worth, I bought two tiered tables of similar style at the thrift in the last few years for a few dollars. They had formica tops and it looks like yours might also. Anyway, I tried selling at a flea market with no result. I then painted the wood portion on one to update the look and freshness. Still couldn't sell it for I think something like $10. I then tried to donate them and they wouldn't take them. I ended up tossing them out because I needed the space.

I'm in VA and hope you have better luck.

I've posted your photo for the people who won't click on links.

Well, it certainly has the retro look that so many seem to prize, but agree with the open-hearted say_it_slowly :) that the value would be virtually nil. That goes for my corner of the midwestern U.S. as well as Virginia.

In a store dedicated to mid-20th century retro, it MIGHT bring $omething on a good day.

Has decent lines but the Formica top is not what the aficionados want.

"Old lady?" You mean an "older woman," of course.
