They've been rebuffing all my advances so I could use some advice... hehehehe

Picked up this dresser at an estate sale awhile ago, the owner told me that she had stripped it with intentions of refinishing it. She did not know the age besides "pretty dang old".

It is the old wavy glass, which from my research seems to place it before 1910?

The dresser itself was stripped in preparation for refinishing but not the mirror.

There are locking mechanisms on each drawer, but no key unfortunately. Dovetail drawers. No markings anywhere.

    Thanks for the help guys!

Actually, I'd say about 1900-1910 is pretty close.

I'm pretty certain that the drawer pulls are original, does that seem likely?

Thanks, but there are a couple of people here who would not encourage you to trust my opinion :)

That said, the pulls look original.

Those pulls are original. My husband makes keys for old chests, clocks & misc. furniture all the time. He's an old fashioned locksmith - we pick up old keys and he impressions them in the lock. If you find a real locksmith, not the hardware store or Home Depot, you can probably get a key made.

I think a bit older. Circa 1890. Hardware is definitely of the period but I would expect something more like any of these......
