I've built a crank arm from some metal parts I had, it works well I've just got to paint it and carve out a wooden handle for it.

Got this at a flea market this weekend here for $10. These prints were released in 1971 for the opening of the Brandywine museum, then were shelved until 2017 when they were re-released. The one I have is definitely from 1971 though - it's mounted in a decrepit wood frame with paper across the back of the frame (though only 40 years old, the frame did not stand the test of time for sure). The print is pretty good condition though a little discolored.

Note that what I'm posting is not my actual find; it's a stock photo (my camera's dead right now).

I also got a small bin full of jewelry for $5 from a person who didn't want to bother toting it home. More than enough silver in the bin to scrap to make back my money and then some, plus a nice little vintage chinese coral necklace.

Its a copy but I wonder how close it is to the real coin.

My uncle was a life-long Navy guy. He was allowed to take anything he wanted from a decomissioned ship- he chose to take a set of these, these are what the officers on the ship used. I am still cleaning them and putting them in a silverware chest, and I add to them when I see items like yours. Yes, they are very collectible.

I love stuff from WW2 I just bought myself a WW2 Military pocket watch for 18 quid, of course its not a working one but I bought it more for the case, I can always find another movement to put inside it and turn it into a working watch. I'll upload a photo of it when it arrives.

I actually cleaned those movements again but this time I left them in the ultra sonic cleaner for longer.

I was a bit pleased. I could see it had a hallmark, the seller just looked at the base and said it wasn't anything much. Hence the fiver. I then sat in the car with a loupe and gloated as I read the mark. Even a more recent one would have been worth five quid. ;)
