    Hello
I am hoping someone can please assist with helping to date this ring.
It's stamped 14k but tests 10k. It was amongst Mum's jewellery. She lived in Singapore as a young woman so perhaps that's a clue. I will be selling and am keen to provide as accurate description as possible. Thanks so much  20201101_094755.jpg 20201101_094726.jpg 20201101_094818.jpg 20201101_094838.jpg

Hi @TraceyB .....A true 'signet' ring was used for embossing or signing a document actually! It was carved in the 'negative' so when you sealed with it you would see the 'positive' result! I've got my Mom's Coat of Arms and my DH's family's, but don't wear them anymore....have other favorite rings now!!!!:joyful::joyful::joyful: Yours has an initial attached to it.....I don't know if that could be called a 'signet' ring......wait for others to come along!!!

Hi @Aquitaine . Thanks! I understand what you are saying about it not being a 'true signet ring. What would be the best description to market do you think? :watching:
