    Hi everybody!

I just wanted to share these beautiful scent bottles I received today.

    *Blue Opaline Glass
    *Perfume/Scent Bottles
    *French
    *Palais Royal
    *19th Century
    *Ormolu
    *Hinged
    *Including original stoppers (numbered 20 & 21)

Both bottles have the same bronze mount and decorations.

    Differences:
    1) One bottle is a little larger.
    2) The smallest bottle has a little deeper blue color.
    3) The large bottle has a miniature painting of a building,
which is unknown to me. (haven't searched for it yet)
    4) The smaller bottle has a miniature painting of "Arc de Triomf"

    I'd say these are approximately 1850-1870 (?)

    Thank for watching ;)

    Beautiful. Love 'em!!!!

I believe the building may be the Maison Carree in Nimes, France, constructed in the Year 2 by the Romans.

On the bottle I see trees around the building. Therefore I believe it must be "La Madelaine" then.. Thank you very much!!

That blue color is perfect indeed. But, I have something even more special I believe.
I think I haven't placed it here yet. It's an pink opaline egg. Ca. 1850.

This glass is very beautiful, and has a real milky glow to it.
(Maybe I'll place it as a full post later)

Does anybody know why I can't upload multiple pictures at once no more?
I now have to upload picture by picture.

Yes, I often see them in boxes. Either opaline glass caskets, or wooden boxes.
