Featured Gladys Tuke Bowl - Trying to pin down a value

Hello everyone - I've got a piece of art pottery created by Gladys Tuke, a folk artist in West Virginia. It's a small bowl or coaster about 5" across and 1" tall. Dated 1957. I can find pieces on Worthpoint but I don't have a membership. I also found a covered bowl on Etsy but it's sold so I can't see the price. I'd like to sell it or donate it but have no idea where to start as regards value. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Maybe a berry bowl? It has folksy charm that I rather like!

 

Thank you buyingtime777. I rather like it too but I really don't have much pottery that would fall under the folk category and I don't have the space to start another collection. It's a great pattern for this time of the year.

When I saw "White Sulphur Springs" I had to go look her up to see if there was any possibility we are distantly related. (I'm related to hundreds of people in that part of the state.) Unfortunately, no. But it certainly is a nice piece!

 

I have a cousin that lives very close to Greenbriar and her daughter was a cocktail waitress at the resort for a time. We aren't really from that area, though, but from further north in Pennsylvania. Thanks for the compliment on the bowl!

I've never been there, but one set of my great-grandparents were born there. Both from huge(!) families, many of whom stuck around. Mine left for Indiana about 1890 and did not look back.

 

She seems to have been rather accomplished in what I can find and I am most curious to know the Worthpoint value also. That might be a "sleeper"!

 

The blue and white covered bowl sold for $150 on Etsy...I think your bowl is nicer!

Worthpoint lists about 18 items. Values ran from $19 to $125 (2 vases); $139 & $150 for the horses; many pieces in the $20-$50 range.
Is there a particular item there that you'd like the price of?

Thank you all for your help on this bowl. Thought you'd like to know I've decided to keep it for awhile. I'm going to keep it with my fall decorations (such as they are) and put it on my parlor table from September until the Christmas decorations go up. It's just too unique not to save.
