GWR railway pocket watch

If anyone has one or sees a good one please let me know. It needs to be in good condition , preferably working or just need servicing and have the numbers in the back or good GWR provenance. Silver would be great but the majority of the station watches were base metal so I’m open to any.
No hurry as I want to find the right one as a gift for my OH. He had a lovely gold pocket watch one as an inheritance from his grandfather but his mother sold it .
I can’t replace that one but he is very interested in GWR so it’s the best I can do. Thankyou

I know. It’s unforgivable!.
Just one episode of many similar ones from his childhood. No wonder he has a serious chip on his shoulder and trust issues!.

 

If you can't trust your own parents..... And his mother selling his inheritance to treat his sister, that is 100% psychological abuse.
Unfortunately many children have good reason not to trust their parents.

 

I can’t say what I would like to say on an open forum but you can guess.

I will keep an eye out for you, I won a huge lot of broken pocket watches and parts at an auction and if I win anymore and get one I'll let you know but its likely not going to be working one or have something missing from it.
