Signature identification

Hi all. Does anyone have any suggestions for this vase and the maker? Measures approximately 10cm height, 12cm wide3cm depth, weight Thank you.

THAT SIG is a bit hard to tell IMHO!! Inverted.....But I see the date as either '84 or '89......leaning more towards the '84....

I'd say 89.

 

Maybe Joslyn though in this photo looks rather like Justyn.

 

I have tried to take better pictures, hopefully this will help.

 

I think in might be Iestyn Davies or at least looks like some similar to what are said to be his sig. Are you in the UK?

It could be an early bit of Iestyn's work although the piece I own from 2000 is signed in block capitals and also with his studio name "blowzone". This is my piece, a lizard wrapped around a crystal ball, quite a bit different to the OP's vase.

 

Love the lizard!

I did find this piece that is said to be his with a similar looking first name and one said to be his in a similar style.

Thank you. All the links and advice took me in the right direction. The signature seems to be Lestyn Davies 89.

 

You can email them from the 2nd link in say-it-slowly's post above and ask them if it is theirs

 

It ain't Lestyn, it's a Welsh name, Iestyn with a capital "i"
