Looking for Help with Chippendale Pattern Glass

    Hi Board Buddies! I've got this open sugar that I think is a Chippendale variation. It measures 7 3/4" across from handle to handle and 3 1/2" to the top of the handle. The edge is nicely beveled. I have the feeling this is a remake due to the simplification of the base and the sapphire blue color. Does anyone know who made this? Thanks!

    Hi Don...perhaps Krystol. Perhaps you can compare yours to those on line for confirmation.

    Not Chippendale with that foot. It looks like something between the major lobes which would also be wrong. Based on Jefferson 1914 catalog reprinted in Loomis' book "Krys-Tol" Try for a look alike possibly Indiana. Chippendale should have the trade mark Krys-Tol from the bottom of the plunger.

    those added little protrusions indicate Indiana Glass 125 Quadruped c1915; AKA: Old Reliable, Fluted Colonial
