I found a cool print/litho thrift store hunting, but it also has a signature I can't make out!

    I found this today thrift store hunting; I like the look but I am lost on the name (especially last name) - can anyone make it out or know who the artist is?
    PS - Besides the sticker on the back; isn't the way the number 1 is written in the print run (bottom left) common in a different country? (I think I learned that here!)

    I see "Maria Gines." And yes re 1. That's why, in some countries, they cross their 7s to differentiate between. Let's see... Quick research... Protasio Alves means Brazil.
