Featured Old Bottle Info

This is an old bottle with a lid on it that I recently purchased. The bottle has a blue translucent color film or paint on the inside of it which you can see areas of it worn off through the glass.

The bottle without the lid on it measures about 5" in height and about 3" in width and on the bottom is the number "8". There are no make marks on the metal work encasing the bottle.

Does anyone know when and where this bottle was made? Thanks in advance for all replies.

 

Love that cobalt blue glass. It is Moroccan, and could be a kohl bottle. Similar ones are still being made.

I was expecting to see something very different when I opened this thread. That's breathtaking, and yes I adore that blue glass.
