At $3 to $5 a gram you should have quite good money in the amber.

Thank you. Your turquoise piece looks like to same design as my avatar. Is that piece marked?

If that turquoise necklace is what I believe it is, that paid for the lot and more. It looks like Navajo Sterling silver necklace.

The cameo looks like angel skin coral. Check the metal for marks, although I've found them in gold-filled settings before. The one with the blue opaque mottled (i.e. dragon's egg) stones is probably Czech. And while I'm running off at the mouth, does the blue rhinestone set have a signature?

    DAMN!!! $3 - $5 a gram? There's probably 1-1/2 to 2 pounds within that jar. :greedy::greedy::greedy:

@Armando, that piece is marked, but marked Goldette (costume) the same as this: http://www.rubylane.com/item/285513-8167/GOLDETTE-Faux78-Squash-Blossom-Necklace

@komokwa, thanks so much for IDing that little crown shaped perfume bottle. I'll probably post a thread hoping that you all can help ID the other perfume. Again, thanks!

@evelyb30, thank you! The blue rhinestone set is marked: Trifari.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Found this today at the flea market. It's a nice glass cornucopia. Not sure of the maker but still a nice piece. I think it's a cornucopia.

The shape of the dropper top leads me to believe it was made by Volupte. They were in business about the same time frame as DeVilbiss, but I do not think they were as prolific. My guess on the age would be c.1940-1950.

    Hi Nuff,
When I visited Denmark, just about every house had a jar or box full of amber nuggets and pieces. Most of the darker pieces not able to use as jewelry. Now though since they melt the stuff and reform it who knows. I found several pieces of amber on the beaches while I was there.
    Nice jewelry stash.

Yours is sort of a hybrid

If you go by google images it looks like half or more of any of the terms (horn of plenty, cornucopia, jack in the pulpit) are not what they call it

    Thank you Peggy.

The stopper is interesting. It's not designed to be pulled out, just pops-up a tiny bit and swivels.

@Greg, thanks. The amber is not as dark as it appears in that photo. I'll take some better images in the morning under natural light. There is also about 3 or 4 pieces of blue amber and a couple pieces green (didn't know of such color amber until I googled).

@CX, thank you! The guy had about 7 more suits and was going to give them to us real cheap, but they were badly soiled/stained. :( I'm so dumb because this suit doesn't have a tag/label inside, but a couple others did and I forgot to write down the New York designer's name. Hopefully he's there again in the morning and I'll snap and image. Not sure if these things are worth any good money, but they sure as hell are very cool. Must have took many hours and cost a lot to hand make these back in the day. The suit is more Elvis-like than James Brown (sorry James). It has HUGE bell bottoms and bell bottom sleeve cuffs and is very HEAVY.

@Shi, thank you! I'm always amazed how folks just don't take the timeout to look through what they have......especially jewelry.

I have a hard time telling angelskin coral cameos from pink conch shell. I think the difference is that in angelskin coral, the pink can run into the profile part of the cameo. Pink conch shell cameos are more common, but not as common as regular tan and white cameos.

I agree with this... it's really hard to tell those two apart.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Found these 1930s Mexican tourist pottery pieces. Most have some chips but still nice decoration pieces for my mantle.

It looks to me like a Murano/Venetian cornucopia vase - Seguso, maybe...
