#1 is hematite and amethyst, hematite chokers were all the rage in the 90s. It is one of those 'it is what it is' pieces.
#2 is one for the costume joolies.
#3 a nice Modernist pendant, looks like it could be silver, probably German.
Are there any marks? The stones are Czech glass.
#4 a fairly recent Thai sterling choker. The stones could be real.
#5 is another one for the costume joolies.:)

That is #4, a sterling silver choker from Thailand, fairly recent. The fineness of sterling silver is .925, which means 92.5% silver. The stones could be real.

Many of us joolies have a gem tester, but if it is just for the one piece, I would take it to a jeweller. Most Dutch jewellers have testing equipment and don't charge anything. If they charge a fee, don't bother. It is sweet, but not worth paying a fee for.

Those wired brooches are usually Austrian, 50s ish with that AB coating to it. No earlier.

The one with the heart might be some kind of award thingie.

I suspect the haemetite one was made by a crafter.

If you have stuff with gemstones, it could be worth it. I have the 'Diamond Selector II'.

For the costume pieces, brass. The silvertone one could be silver, did you check for a mark?
In dit geval een heel dun laagje over het glas.:)

Since the 'stones' are glass, the metal could be pewter, a favourite in Modernist jewellery.
I remember the name of the type of glass now, simply 'Czech turquoise matrix glass'.:hilarious: Who'd have thunk.:playful:

Brutalist pewter pendant is as good a guess as any from here. The stones could sometimes be real; turquoise wasn't respected for a while and often turned up in costume settings. These are glass.

The top one wants to be amethyst and hematite but I suspect hematite and glass unless it's glass all around. If the grayish beads stick to a magnet, they're hematite. If not, they're glass. Hematite is an iron compound; they rust eventually. Those chip beads are just too red for most amethyst.

The piece made in Thailand is silver with "enhanced" semi-precious stones. A lot of citrines (yellow) are heat-treated to improve color. The peridot too. Blue topaz is irradiated and heated 99% of the time or better to change it from clear to blue. The amethyst and garnets are probably natural; no one bothers messing with those for the most part. No point.
