IMG_5493.JPG IMG_5494.JPG IMG_5495.JPG There are different kinds but the majority are those. Any idea what are they. I'll post pics of the rest later.
    Thanks

They may be Japanese. Somewhere I have a box of pebbles brought back from Japan by an uncle in the 1960s. They were from some beach known for the regularity of the pebbles. I think they're used for ikebana and bonsai and the like.

I found the box. The ones I have are called Mihama pebbles. Mihama Koshi from Shichiri-Mihama beach.

And you got me remembering my uncle. Very good.

Thanks. I googled Mihama pebbles but from what I saw they don't look like mine. Can we see yours?

Don't have a picture right now. Yours may not be specifically Mihama, but I think its likely they are the same sort of thing.

IMG_5502.JPG IMG_5503.JPG IMG_5504.JPG IMG_5505.JPG I don't know, even searching with just Japanese pebbles does not show any similar.
Also, got a bit of those white and green ones. I was thinking jade maybe?

They remind me of the stones they sell at garden centers and candle stores in bags and containers. The green ones look a bit different maybe

Mmm, I strongly suspect a coating of some kind if they are stones

First ones look to me like glass pebbles/nuggets with an iridescent/luster finish, the others look like polished/tumbled jade stones/pebbles - as already mentioned, they can be bought in small bags for decorative use, or in bulk for garden use...
