Featured Perfume bottle details

This bottle is from the last 10 to 15 years. Some are made in the Czech Republic & are meant to imitate the bottles from c.1930 mostly imported from Czechoslovakia by Irice.

Here are some examples of the older style bottles.



You can distinguish between the old ones & the new ones by looking for certain clues. Most of the old ones will have a small cartouche with Czechoslovakia on the side of the lid. The caps usually have decorative filigree design on the cap & most have a rhinestone at the top. The filigree will usually totally encompass the entire bottle. Also the workmanship of the filigree is usually of a better quality. They both will often have daubers, but the older ones are made of glass where the new ones are usually plastic.

thanks for the info the one thing about this site that amazes me is the time people spend for other people in finding info and also their knowledge they pass on blows me away. His jacket is about 4" too long - he either has a bad tailor or it was one brief moment in fashion history that should remain forgotten...................
