Oh my Gawd! Hello everybody!!

Why hello, hello, hello all!!

I'm truly thankful for stumbling upon this site in the midst of my knowledge quest. I am hungry for information and I not only want to know what you all think about antiques, but I also want to LEARN about what is what, why, when!

Recently, I've come upon a treasure trove full of...stuff...most of it looks old. Digging deep in my research has renewed my love of history. Often times when I am looking at or holding an object I start thinking: Who wore/touched/held it? Where has this object been? Where is it from? Who made it or owned it? How did the object make someone feel? I sometimes get a little too nostalgic. You should see me in a museum (I feel like I can feel the past)

Anyhoo, as I said earlier, I recently came upon a treasure trove full of things. I've been researching and researching, taking notes, saving web pages etc. My problem is, as I spend too much time researching each object (though I am learning a bunch!) I'm not really finding much/enough information on the actual object that's in front of me. So thank God I've found this website!
