Help!! Eclipse barrel pump no5

Trying to learn more about the "morrill and morley eclipse barrel pump".

After fruitlessly scouring various search engines I've only turned up a hand full of mentions in book and a drawing.

Curious to learn more about the Pump and why mention and pictures do not exist.

Morrill & Morley Manufacturers, Benton Harbor, MI. They made agricultural spraying equipment for insecticides and fungicides.

Thank you my apologies I'm still trying to figure that out I had read the forum about it but still unsuccessful

I found it I had to clicc on the camera icon up top Wich then pulled up my uploaded photos and when I clicked them it hyperlinked them

 

Thank you I was able to find a handful of the books and ads for it but have not been able to find any mention of it beyond them. I was looking for pictures of the physical item to compare even search archived ebay sales ect to find pictures they may have posted

 

Based on my experience with late 19th/early 20th century books on agricultural pesticides, I don't believe there is a great deal of interest in such items. (Although some modern organic farmers seem to have some interest in researching earlier methods.) The equipment is not particularly nostalgic, aesthetically attractive (to most people), or collectible. I would venture to say most old agricultural equipment was used to exhaustion, then discarded in the back 40 (judging from the amount of junk in the woods of my old farm). An association with pesticides is not a strong selling point, either. But you might find some examples collected and preserved in museums and local historical societies.

 

Fair enough. My response to my girlfriend was along the same line wich bickering followed. But She then pointed out how a quick search of various pumps of the same age and up you could find plenty of pictures and information on whether it be just run of the mill pics, ebay listings ect. Wich of course made me curious why pics and info on this was so scarce
