My grandparents owned an antique shop in Clearwater, Florida in the 80's. Everything I have is from their store. I lost both of my parents in the past 3 months and it's all been left to me.. Learning about all these things is really a fun distraction for me. However, I am wondering if I post some pictures, if anyone can steer me in the right direction as to what they are?? If this forum isn't for that, I apologize now.

Welcome Laura. I am so very sorry for your loss, that is so much to handle, especially emotionally, but also the daunting task of getting everything sorted. We can do our bit when it comes to that last part.

If you have a question about an item, you can look for the appropriate forum here:

Laura, this one is just a call for our moderators, so don't worry:
@daveydempsey , @Bookahtoo , can you move this to Introductions please?:)

I'm so sorry to hear how you ended up with the antiques, but want to tell you that you definitely found the right forum for help, on so many levels!

Not only will you find world-wide expertise in identifying so many things in different areas, but you will also find that friendships develop, there is a thread just for "funnies" that is so helpful in these troubled times, and people are here who really care. Just explore the whole site, and remember that there are members from all different time zones! But I think you found the right place, at the right time.

(Plus the moderators keep out those who don't belong here, and help those who do!)
