Thanks! After seeing that price on the letgo post I'm feeling pretty good. I only paid approx. a 1/3rd of that.

 

If you watch Antique Pickers at all (I do occasionally only).....they pay big money for signs in what I think is HORRIBLE shape!!!! But!!!!! Yours looks pretty decent!!!!!

 

Sometimes it's a case of "find another one" or an icebreaker. You pay up on the first piece and then hope to get better deals on the later ones. They're also more willing to work on a smaller margin than some of us, probably because they have alternate revenue streams as it were.

 

i found a signed oilers hat , just have to figure out who signed it , the hat is from 2004

found this book today $15. tod Claymore FLARE PATH First printing , WWII RAF Novel. seems to be missing the dust jacket tho .

My first reaction to that face was "Star Trek" - remember the scary face they always showed during the credits? It was in The Corbomite Maneuver (I USED to have that memorized...darnitt!).

Today I went hunting in the local Ill Will. "That piece looks like Moorcroft" thinks I ... and lo and behold it is. It's small and has a chip, but find another one as they say. All those months watching Bargain Hunt are good for something after all, and it was a whole dollar. Once my batteries charge I'll have to get a shot of it.
