Chinese alabaster carved?

    Hi confirmation please I think these are alabaster. They look hand carved and have the chinese year symbols on the top.     Chinese chop/signature blanks if nothing carved on the bottom,most likely soapstone.

    Probably Shoushan stone, sometimes thrown in with soapstone, but of a different composition and more valued among Chinese and collectors.

    thanks for the info yet again found one set online can see the shoushan is a different composition than soapstone from what I can see my 30 dollars spent is a pretty good buy
