    Can anyone make out the signature ? the first name is Barbara, last name is hard to make out.

    Try "Barbara Eigler." Adding "Pottery Barn" will bring up more information.

    After a quick internet search, it appears that the ceramics Barbara Eigler produced for Pottery Barn were marked as such.
