  1. We stumbled across this neat ancient pottery with an irs seizure sticker on the bottom. The lady I took it to in St.luis says its believed to be BC or AC??? Any info would be helpful.

Not sure what you mean. It's going to either be B.C. or A.D. No other choices. Your close-up photograph of the sticker is out of focus. Please be kind enough to post another. And a photograph of the item (a small pitcher?) taken against a plain background would be helpful along with a description of the material. (Ceramic?)

That sticker would make me question the piece. It seems like something a person making reproductions would do.

An in focus shot of the sticker that we can actually read would be helpful.

Yes, please check your close-up photographs before you post them to make sure they're in focus.

All you have done is post your out of focus pictures as full size instead of thumbnails. Still to blurry to see any detail. - As Debora has already said twice.

So you were led to believe it dates to somewhere around 1BC or 1AD, not like 500BC or 500AD or 2000BC or 2000AD? You aren't making much sense.

I’m not sure “ancient” is the right word... :)

EDIT: to be clear, your label reads: “Made of U.S. Greenbacks, redeemed and macerated by the U.S. Government at Washington D.C. Estimated at $5,000.” Still a nice Victorian collectable, and some numismatists collect them!

Wow. I've never heard of these before. Interesting.

They were made between 1874 and 1942. They seem to sell in the range of $40 to $150.
