    These are all so beautiful!
    Loved seeing Kyras examples too.

i was wondering if yours is marked somewhere, I’ve circled a section, maybe a mark? Or could be nothing.

How do you keep it on if it is long enough to slide on over the hand?

The peacock in the bracelet is upside down altogether.

A respectable jeweller will tell you before starting any work whether they think there will be a problem.

Sounds as though you might be thinking of Essex crystal? The genuine stuff is quite pricey.

Doing a Google search with the terms: "Victorian Bird pendant feather" you will see a number of these, some in gold, some in sterling:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=vic...psCtsQ_AUoAnoECAwQBA&biw=1215&bih=591&dpr=1.5

Also a few (pendants, not bracelets) currently on Ebay using the same search terms.

You have reminded me that I found a few of these at an estate sale last year. Mine were pendants. (Will post photos later.)

In a quick search didn't see any bracelet like this online, so feel this is a pretty rare item, especially signed as it is and in gold. If giving to as a gift, be sure the lucky recipient knows it is a rare piece and fairly old! The peacock is amazing!

Others may have advice about whether to have a jeweler add something or not.

That's a NICE bracelet. If i found something like that in a rummage or estate sale it would be sitting in my hoard and I'd be puffing smoke, one happy dragon.

There may have been a clasp at some point or there might not. I have plenty of bangles that are narrower than my hand. To get the hand in, I just "fold" it.

I found the picture of a pendant I believe was made by the same artist for the signature on it:

    https://www.google.com/search?q=vic...biw=1215&bih=591&dpr=1.5#imgrc=BnoYV6YUiOMx2M

Unfortunately the information linked to the image is no longer available on the website it comes from.

Actually that was what triggered me to try to find more insight about my mum's set. I have no idea how old it could be or the possible price of such a beauty.

My god daughter is my oldest niece, i believe is fair she has it and uses it.

I will love to see your pictures, Lucille.

Thank you very much for your words.

I hadn't notice but looked for it and it seems like a mark. Hard to tell nevertheless. I would need a magnifier. It is the only pression mark noticeable in the whole set though. Very good eyes!!

    Thank you.

Perhaps you're thinking of Essex crystals, Pat?

Wouldn't look for that to happen any time soon...

Pendant sold on Rubylane with what looks like may be the same signature (scroll to the bottom):

Here are a couple of bracelets on eBay, not near the quality of yours, their MOP discs clearly originally buttons:

This button, again, not near the quality of Kyra's, appears to be missing its glass, and sold for $175.:

Wow, thanks Cheryl. The pendant on the top is the back side from the one I shared with a link somewhere before. I'm trying to reach the sellers but I couldn't see all the info you displayed here. Perhaps I should try from my laptop instead of my cellphone.
I believe that one is silver made instead of gold. But am not sure.
The bracelets look very similar in design though that one looks made with buttons as you said. Very different from my mum's.
It seems te set she had can be ways more expensive.

    Gracias mil!

I think very special to have one in gold, and that full open Peacock has some exceptional art in it. Most of these I'm seeing are in silver. Neat to find another similarly signed example!

Here are mine, amazed I found them as I purchased them years ago at an estate sale. I have a drawer of jewelry in the "to list" pile. Actually forgot about them until this post.

Photos in full sun which makes them pop a bit more than in real life, but you can see the details. They are backed with butterfly wings, in indoor light look much more subdued. If I had to guess the date on the sterling chain part of the one I would think 1920s or earlier.
