Chinese Vase - maybe 18th Centuries - PLS HELP

    Hi Guys, I’m new to this group.

    I wanted to ask if anyone can help me find out Bit lore about a vase which have. I’ve been meaning to get it valued and appraised but I though I’ll to find out but more info before I spend £100’s on getting it checked out then find out it’s worthless .

    Size:

    H: 35cm
    W: 18cm
    D: 10cm

    Any help would be really appreciated.

    Initial feeling is that it’s not 18th c. Can we have a photo of the base please?

    Looks pretty new to me. I'd say 70s 80s. Maybe even newer than that.

    also its a ginger jar. Personally I wouldn't spend that much on it but that's me

    I wouldn't call it a ginger jar, but maybe that's just me. With such a large lid, it is at least an urn and not a vase. Late 20th century most likely, but a view of the bottom will tell the tale.

    Newish, design looks Japanese-y although piece may not be, attractive but decorative value only.

    I say urn , too...with a wonky lid.....

    can you show the bottom photo please?seeing how they drew the image i have feeling this is not 18th century,actually this kind of vase with lid like this usually is dated back to kangxi period of qing dynasty,sometimes also found in shipwreck,the bottom should tell many,just share to us :angelic:

    not chinese. the decoration is japanese
    judging by painting style and technique it's not antique and definitly not from the 18th century. Perhaps mid to late 20th century or maybe later. please post a picture of the bottom
