    Hi everyone,
I have this very old wooden window, it was given to me by a relative who passed away some time ago, I'd like know as to its origin ( I've been told is Moroccan or Spanish) age and how much it might be worth, thank you all for your help.

    Welcome, Carlos.
Very nice window. It is Moroccan. The rose with 8 petals that you see in the top two corners of the frame and in simplified form on the rail, signifies that this was once in an Arab Muslim house (so not Berber Muslim). Morocco had this kind of symbolism so people would know where others of the same background were.
It is antique, my guess is 19th century, but let's wait for the others.
I have no idea of the current value, but maybe google will help you with the information you now have.

Thanks so much, I was told it was a little older that, very interesting info on the rose petal symbolysm, I'll start doing some research based on that.

It could be. I suspect it was once painted, making it more difficult for me to judge. But I am sure others who know more about wood will be along. I am more of a 'which style and symbolism' person.;)
