Need help with identifying a mid century piece

    Any information on this piece is much appreciated. I think this is teak. It is 2 pieces that rest upon each other. Thanks.[​IMG] [​IMG]

    I remember seeing those in Scandinavian furniture shops in the 1970s. My best friend's brother married a Danish woman and she was big on this kind of furniture. At that point, a lot of people were big on it, it was well made and sleek.

    We had one of these in our daughter's room bought at a Scandinavian furniture store around 1999-2000 and I still see them around. It's a great design that can be positioned in many different ways!

    I still have mine...bought in 82....teak laminate...Scandinavian..

    Yours looks like the 2 piece top of mine ...
    I have a 3 drawer base making mine around 5 ft tall..
