I wonder they collect 1950's school and British Rail torture "tissue" too.? That stuff is so soft, it crackles ..

 

One day selling at the local flea I saw a young man making a bee line to my booth. He grabbed a bug sprayer I had and was so thrilled, he collects them and he didn't have one with a glass bottle.

Another time a buyer asked me if had any "screaming cat pins". Really? I never heard of them!

Just today someone asked me if I had any sterling city pins. Another thing I never heard of.

Blooey, the very first time I traveled to London from the US was in 1978.

Being a tourist, I visited the Tower of London. When nature called, I made a quick trip to "the ladies", where I discovered the yellow, waxy TP, imprinted every few inches with the words "Property of Her Majesty the Queen" (or some such.) I HAD to "steal" a piece to show my friends at home!
