After some information about the attached buddha figurine. I can hear sand inside when I shake it.
I'm hoping its made from silver but can't work out the inscription on the bottom. 20201011_173736.jpg 20201010_072459.jpg

It is a charming figurine, but unfortunately not silver. It is silvertone base metal, the Chinese call it 'silver copper' 'Tibetan silver', 'Miao silver' etc. The sand is what remains of the casting process.
The mark is a dynastic mark, but it has nothing to do with a historic period or a manufacturer.
Your little Buddha is recent Chinese production, sold on Chinese sites like aliexpress ands alibaba. You should check out the sites, the prices asked for some of these figurines are quite nice.:)

Thankyou both. The bloke i bought it from claimed that his father had owned it,the seller is in his 70's. But I like it anyway.
