Native design pin 46

    Hi,
    I picked this up today and trying to figure out what the 46 stands for. - 3/4" diameter. Any ideas appreciated.

    Not anything I've seen before; certainly a NW Coast native-inspired design, possibly a Raven or Eagle. Might have been something made for an organization located in Alaska or BC, such as Boy Scout Troop 46; Eagles Lodge 46.....
    Funny it has no other identification; if scouts, you'd expect something to say that....if it is a 46-year service pin for some organization or company, you'd expect the company to be named.

    Not necessarily, but I'd expect a maker's name.

    Looks like the pin was attached with a Sparkie welder,not sure when they started to be used.
