Got a few vintage VHS tapes of the "Halloween" series last night at a thrift store. They must have missed them. The Horror genre is one of the few categories of VHS that sell relatively well. The popular titles do good but it is really the obscure low budget horror VHS that bring the big bucks. So in all I think I got $30+ in VHS tapes for $0.75 based on recent eBay sales.

I have to get a picture up of my score of the day. The estate sale this morning was more of a No Sale, but the charity thrift in the afternoon was Scoresville.

I picked up these little beauties of ebay, I rarely buy these sorts of things as I like to dig them up but I love the local stuff of printed ginger beer bottles & flagons.

I bought this from the Saturday market for one pound, it might be a 'something' or could be just old tat, maybe somebody on here knows more about it? Can't go wrong for a pound.

I got a few other bits too but the photos kept coming out dark so I will re-take those photos and upload them when I have more time.

Carlton ware, but you know that. Used to be a tenner or a bit more, now they're under a fiver. Worth a quid tho'!

Here are some interesting looking plates I bought. I grow a lot of plants so I've been looking for old plant pots and saucers.

Here are some photos of the saucers I got today for 50p each

I know not a lot about British pottery, but the one with the angel on the back has my nose twitching. That Carlton Ware lettuce leaf would be just fine for serving the last of the cherry tomatoes. Might as well for a quid.

I spent a "bomb" today on all sorts of things. I'll have to wait until I'm alive again to take pictures. Left the house at 7:30 and got back at 1:30. I'm dead. On the upside, my curiosity was satisfied. There has been an eyesore house in the neighborhood for years, and today there was an open dumpster out front. MS or no MS I went and got nosy. The house apparently had mold and mice inside, so I think the only thing the guys were salvaging were a Fossil watch and some gold-filled Cross pens. I did see a report card from my old elementary school, dated 1963. Beyond salvage alas, but still....

I love old British and Irish pottery I like the weird and wonderful stuff the most. If those were full sets they'd probably be antiques road show material. The guy had boxes upon boxes of odd tea cups and saucers. I'll be doing another treasure hunt tomorrow, hitting the car boot sales.

Some recent finds! Really love the look of the Capped Bust Quarter. Also my first foray into high school football programs, got about 15 some in decent condition, some a little worn/stained. The Rookwood Pottery was made in 1927.

Commercial art. Doing covers for high school football programs. I guess what it takes to put bread on the table. Does it say who printed them?

There wasn't anything much at the car boot markets today, just a whole lot of rubbish. I did however find some old coins, here are some photos of the first lot, nothing to special but nice old coins nevertheless.
