Mini Brown Stonewate Jug With Cork German?

    Picked this up at a sale. Woman was a collector and had Ohio, North Carolina, Bybee and other pottery. This jug stands 3" tall (not including cork) no marks. Not sure what the decoration is. Can anyone help? jug1.JPG jug2.JPG jug3.JPG jug4.JPG jug5.JPG

    If it's from Germany, maybe those are supposed to represent acorns and an oak leaf. But they look more like cherries or walnuts to me.

    Probably sold with cherry schnapps in it.

    Could be from Calvados, home of a sort of apple brandy.
