I am thinking this guy has quite a bit of age to it. Not marked but held at 14k. I thought these diamonds were considered single cut but when I look that up, they don’t appear to be the same. These have an odd shape and crudeness about them.
Any help is very much appreciated

Not marked because it has been re-shanked and resized. Photos are too out of focus to see diamond cut,are the backs of the stones flat?

The original shank must have been broken or damaged; in the USA some small town jewelers were still doing that sort of metalwork for a good decade after everyone else stopped. But.... late 19th is probably good enough.

Full or half shank replacement is practiced today by many jewelry/repair shops ..... https://www.josephjewelry.com/jewelry-repair-service/re-shank-rings.php

Thank you! I rescued it from the GW and it was 50% off day. I think I paid $3 I thought it was at least gold filled but it holds. I dying to know more of the history The stone shapes are so odd to me

It doesn’t weigh much. I’m hoping the stones will tell some type of story about what, when, where. I think I scored a little. Lol

    Wow...$3.00?
    Awesome. I also think 1880s-1910s
Looks like rose cut diamonds and cabochon rubies.

Ahh. Gotta look up rose cut diamonds. The red does not test rubies on the tester I have. I can’t find my presidium yo double check. I think they are garnet.

They look rather pink to be garnet. They could even be synthetic rubies.
After taking a second look, they are buff top stones, not cabochon. I think I can see that they are faceted underneath.
After a good cleaning(cause I can see gunk in there!), you will be able to see any inclusions that will rule out synthetic.

I’m going to clean it in a little and put better pics. I noticed the yuck in these photos. I forgot about spinels.

One garnet is a modern replacement, the rest of the stones are Frankenstein's children.Salvaged from older relatives jewelry or stones from a jeweler's scrap bin.
