    Hello

I am restoring an art deco Gesso framed etched 3 panel mantle wall mirror. There are the remnants of the maker's label I’d like to identify.

Each of the panels are stamped August 29, 1929.

I'd like to identify the company, but either there are no records of the company or I'm not using the correct combination of letters on the label.

Sorry but I can't seem to get the image to display horizontally.

Any history of this company would be greatly appreciated. - Thanks

Abegweit, what do YOU think it says? I've played with the photo twelve ways from Sunday, and I still haven't figured out a name. I think I see "pictures" in one spot, and maybe ".....akee" in another, but I'm not even sure of that.

Maybe the "....akee" is from Kankakee? (It's the only word I can think of right now.)

Could it be frames ... moldings .... pictures ... m? (mirrors maybe?) around that logo?

I think you're on to something, quirky. Looking at that partial word on the left side looks like AMES to me.

Might say Frames, Moldings, and Pictures around the logo.

I think "verybad" has nailed down what the 3 of 4 outside words. I had located a link for pair of 1929 wall scones with mica shades that showed a P M and Co "foundry" I believe, but not a lot more detail, but the link got closed and wouldn't you know it, I can't replicate the keywords I used to bring it up in Google - I guess the manufacturer will remain a mystery - not the best picture, but here's the mirror assembled, still have to put hanger on it, the weight is incredible as the mirrors exceed a 1/4" in thickness so I want to be sure that when hung there is no chance for it to fall, I'm confident the frame will hold together, just concerned with the hanging method - thank you everyone that has tried to help...

Hi there, we have a mirror with the same logo on the back, circa 1924 or 9. It says P over an M with Co. in behind. Around the circle is Frames Mouldings Pictures Mirrors. I can't seem to find any info about the company or the value of the mirror.
