McCoy Planter,Black or is it painted?

    Found this little guy at a thrift. but couldn't tell is it was painted or black. it has a lot of gold also?
    Approx 3 1/2" tall x 5" wide at top

    I have a piece with similar glazing, I believe that is how it is supposed to look.

    I think I found your pedestal bowl in my McCoy book Vol 111. P. 95 Their photo is not detailed enough to see for sure.
