Found these interesting and would like to know more about them.
They are both about 4 3/4" tall shaped like vases, but open on both ends. one has a candle in the bottom so i was thinking that is what they are? Possibly someone might know where and when also.
    Any help would be awesome.

Thank blooey, it's been a while since i have held any of this. so wasn't quite sure.
i am thinking the candle was added and maybe should get rid of it? worthpoint called them shades, but you would be able to find some wouldn't you?

I'd call it a shade, missing a brass base.

I've known open end shades to be called Hurricane shades.

They are great to have in the house in case of power failure. Keeps a lit candle a bit safer.
