I'm trying to ID the manufacturer of this Art Deco 800 Silver Desk Set. So far, I haven't found any numerical order list that goes over 800. This should be a post-1968 mark from Milano. Thanks in advance! Here's the item, with a close up of the mark:

    I googled: "1007 mi" italy 800 silver

    and found this document: http://www.gazzettaufficiale.it/att...le=092A1582&atto.tipoProvvedimento=COMUNICATO

    Which lists:
    1007 MI Cervone Luigi e C. S.n.c. Milano

    under this header:
Pursuant to art. 26 of the Regulation on the regulation of the securities
and the identification marks of precious metals, approved by
Decree of the President of the Republic n. 1496 of 1970, it is
known that the companies listed below, already 'assignees of trademarks
alongside each indicated, have ceased the activity 'connected
    the use of those marks.
Its punches were withdrawn and deformed. (thank you Google Translate!)

So it appears to me that the company ID is correct, and that they are out of business.

Thanks! I went through over 100 pages yesterday looking through a list of IDs that wasn't sorted. Glad to finally get a match! :)

Malachite -- love it. Italian seems to be usually 800 silver standard.
