I have Patek Philippe cufflinks. I checked with the Jeweler and there was no doubt that gold and diamonds. I don't have a cufflink certificate. My question is whether to put the cufflinks for sale without a certificate or is it better to write to Patek for a history and then put it up for sale? What is their real price? I would think you would severely limit your market without authentication.

JMHO. I would not spend any money for papers or authentifications.
although yours have diamond splinters on the outer edge they will not make more than the ones in the link below, because that's Vienna prices.
when you calculate all the time invested you could as well let them go on a platform without all the costs of an auction house; I'd list them for 1800 $ and accept offers around 1500 to 1600 $.
