Learning New Stuff Everyday

Discussion in 'Introductions' started by Narrative_Mercantile, Sep 14, 2017.

  1. Hi Everyone,
My wife Jen and I recently opened a small vintage/antiques business in Chicago - Narrative Mercantile. We love wasting time researching and learning the history behind the most random of objects. We collect and sell a wide range of things from salvaged industrial pieces to Victorian and everything in between.

We probably don't have a ton of knowledge to offer, but hopefully we can contribute a bit as we learn.

    Thanks!
    -Jonathan & Jen

I probably don't have a lot of knowledge to offer, either, but you never know! Best wishes with your business, Jonathan & Jen.

Particularly in Chicago, Chicago, that toddling town! Chicago, the city that Billy Sunday could not shut down. On State Street - oh wait, nothing but empty buildings and going out of business sales........sorry!

Were those steps, or potholes? I'm betting they're Chicago's best crop.

    No.
The concrete was all out of whack to each section last I was there.
    But yes, potholes everywhere. :p

More like Mother Nature pounding out her frustrations at all those years the Cubbies couldn't get arrested, never mind into the Series.
