Before I lose my mind...can anyone ID this pottery mark? PB?

Help! I've spent hours researching and searching for this mark to no avail. Does anyone have any idea where these might come from? They're fairly heavy, sturdy and are in perfect condition which makes me think they're American and fairly recent. (Im a newbie so I could be wrong.) They're just so elegant, its driving me nuts not to know about them. It appears like a backward P and B is in the mark. Any help or ideas you may have are SOOO appreciated!

 

Probably studio pottery, which can be very hard to ID. Pieces often don't make it far from where they originated. But you could try searching through this site. https://www.themarksproject.org/home

I do have a couple of questions for you about your three pottery pieces.

What size are they?

Are they "heavy" or "light" when you hold them one at time?

What do you think you could or will use them for?

Is the inside of each one glazed?

I like them but . . . I'm not certain what I am "liking" at this point.

 

Hi, there. Yes...those are great questions that would probably have been helpful. They're each a bit different in size, but the largest is around 4"x3". They're heavy...probably 1 lb. each. Two of the three are complete glazed, and the third is not glazed on the inside of the bowl. I thought they'd make great little dishes for nuts or other snacks or dips to be put out in a group. The only other thing I can think of that may be helpful is that they were purchased resale in Grand Rapids, MI but I'm not sure exactly where. Here's a pic of the inside, where you can see one isn't glazed all the way to include the inside. Hope this helps!

 

Paul Berman has a similar reverse PB signature but when I google his name I don't see any comparable items. maybe you can approach him and ask if these are his
