    Hi Everyone,

It's great to be a part of the Antiquers community!

I'm looking for some feedback on an old, what appears to be, hand-blown green glass Arrowhead carboy. I can't find any comparable pieces on the web and was hoping that someone within this community may be able to help place a value and perhaps suggestions on where to sell it.

    Thanks so much!!!
    Mark

Glass water jug. I see "ARROWHEAD" but what is the other word above (Below) it? Any markings on the bottom?

What does it hold - 5 gallons?

It doesn’t state 5 gallons on it that I could find but based on the other car boys that I have, it is 5 gallons. It is the same in stature and size.

I figured as much. (Former home wine maker here.) I cannot imagine how something this large and heavy could be "hand-blown."

There are many Arrowhead water carboys to be found with a Google Image search. (Named for Lake Arrowhead, of course.) Here's an example. Don't see one exactly like yours but... you can check eBay for comparables.
