Heavy end tables Danish or ?

    Risom did make tables with formica. Just include that in your search.

    I think in my earlier post I should has said I didn't see any with "wood grain" Formica. I guess I think of all wood-grain laminate on furniture as "Formica". Somehow the different colors I think of as "laminate". (Realize that may not be correct.)

    Anyway in a limited search, the few Risom pieces with laminated tops I saw were either solid black or solid cream/white, none with the "faux wood".

    But also nagging is the fact that this set has those gold or brass colored feet covers (none of the Risom ones online did) so thinking this is probably some kind of off-shoot. Even wondering if the table tops themselves (under the laminate) might be particle board or something, which might explain the weight. Clearly the legs are a nice wood, could be totally off on that last thought, just something about the photo of the underside made me think that at one point.

    It is a great set no matter. With this profile, the floating look, they would have lasted less than 5 minutes at our thrift.
