    #21.jpg #22.jpg #05.JPG #28.jpg #30.jpg First I would like to thank Peter for accepting me back in Feb. I have enjoyed your forums since then and just finally got the nerve to join in. I am not very good with the computer.
    I was wondering if anyone has ever seen this brooch before or could give me any information on it. I purchased it about 2 weeks ago and have not been able to find any info whatsoever on it. I was wondering who may have made it and how old it could be and what it may be worth. There is no markings on it what so ever. It is 3" tall and 2 3/4" across. The faux pearl is approx. 1" by 3/4" in size. It is in very nice condition. I would appreciate any help anyone could give me. Thank you

    From the scale, gold tone, type of faux pearl, and closure, your brooch appears to be 1980s or later. Is it in its original box?

    Seconded. It looks like late 80s to early 90s, from an unknown manufacturer. It has an Art Nouveau/ Craftsman aspect to it, popular at the time. Beyond that... welcome to the board!

    That would have been my guess, too... 1980's-90's Art Nouveau (revival).

    Does the verdigris by the pin closure wipe off, or is that some genuine oxidation?
