Featured Glass Treasure or Trash?

    I don't know anything about this little glass bowl/vase or what it would have been used for P1050003.JPG P1050003 (1).JPG P1050006.JPG P1050010.JPG P1050009.JPG P1050010.JPG P1050012.JPG P1050013.JPG P1050003.JPG P1050005.JPG P1050011.JPG if anything. I don't see any marks or letters at all. Please share your knowledge with me!

    Hi Dave.
    You can delete your duplicate pictures.
    Go to Edit, More Options, there will be a delete button next to the picture you want to delete, then Save.

    The Edit button is only available for a while, then disappears.

    Check Northwood Inverted Fan and Feather

    Believe it is a spooner.
    Probably fluoresces with a black light.

    Wait for someone to confirm

    It is if there is uranium in the mix, it would glow green under black light.

    Nice item. Treasure for sure. Color looks to be true Vaseline rather then just Uranium Glass. Not to mention the opalescence~!

    This pattern/piece (this is the only piece shown) is first shown in the first Dugan catalog after Dugan took over. (Northwood had joined the National Glass Co. combine, in 1899, then the combine fell apart in 1903. This is when Dugan became owner. Northwood, by this time was assuming control of the defunct Hobbs Brockunier factory in Wheeling. Since there is a discussion as to what the piece is, it was illustrated and listed in the catalog a (I believe) a Celery.

    There is (or was) one at a local flea market here, and I believe they wanted $75 for it. Very nice piece when you see it in person.
