Found a lonely little coffee cup and saucer for $2 in an op shop
with what I think is a Japanese mark on the saucer. The first
symbol seems to be “ei” but I can't decipher or find the others
online. The cup is 5cm high 5cm round and the saucer is 11cm round
and 2cm high. Can anyone help me out with the makers name and possibly
    a date?

    Cheers
    Stephen

Looks like a demi-tasse size, then. Have you checked gotheborg.com for the mark?

"Demi-tasse" - That's the name I've been trying to think of instead of "iddy biddy".
Found the first symbol in gotheborg.com but couldn't see the whole mark there. Might have missed it as I tend to go a bit blind looking at all the squiggles but I think it wasn't there.
